 With Karmine premium apple juice, we set out to exceed the standards set by
Karmine pure apple juice which has already been much praised, and is, in itself,
considered a premium juice. The only way in which we could improve the quality
was to improve the apples which we select. So in October each year, just before
we begin the main harvest, we set out to scout the trees and bring back the very
best apples. We pick about 6000 of the best Karmijn de Sonnaville apples on the
farm, and about 2000 really good
Bramley's Seedling fruits. These we then
put aside for our premium juice. When it comes to making the juice, nothing is
left to chance, with all involved in making the juice fretting over every
detail, and trying many proportions of Karmijn and Bramley, to find the perfect
combination. When at last we were satisfied that the juice is just right, we
bottle and pasteurise as we normally would. The result: One thousand bottles of
premium juice, made from the best 1% of the apples on our farm. At the moment it
is only available direct from our farm-shop, and we hope that you will enjoy it.
