Getting to the Apple Farm

roadsignThe Apple Farm is located on the main Limerick/Waterford road (N24) between Cahir (6km) and Clonmel (9km), and is well signposted from this road.
If travelling by road from Dublin or Cork take exit 10 from the M8 and follow signs towards Waterford/Clonmel until you reach our entrance which is located about 6km from the motorway exit.

For people travelling to The Apple Farm by public transport, the nearest railway and bus stations are in Cahir, Co. Tipperary (6 km) and Clonmel, Co. Tipperary (9km). Both of these towns are well serviced by bus, but rail services are infrequent, with the nearest well-served railway stations being Limerick-Junction and Thurles, both of which are over 30km from us.
There are a number of local taxi firms in Clonmel and Cahir, should you wish to travel the last few km to our farm in this way.

Local link buses to and from The Apple Farm

While there is no scheduled service on the Cahir/Clonmel route, it is possible to get to and from The Apple Farm using the local-link bus service in Clonmel.
Services depart Clonmel (outside Easons on Gladstone Street (E91 H520) as per the schedule below. The bus collects pre-booked passengers and brings them to Clonmel, or from Clonmel to the destination.
The collection time at The Apple Farm, and the time it takes to get to/from Clonmel vary, depending on the route required to pick up other booked passengers.
